In July 2014, the Red ORA was founded as an international association of Banja Luka. This came as a logical continuation of a long-term process, and has grown from the roots.
In 2009 several European organizations launched a dynamic educational process called "ORA" stands for Observe Rethink Act. This process youth centers, nature reserves, environmental NGOs, social promotion associations, cooperatives, artistic teams, cultural associations and centers Eco in order to expand opportunities for social inclusion, cultural, environmental and economic development of met youth in the life of the community.
The concept of the ORA is to provide young people directly with the opportunity to observe their own context (local and international), to reconsider their own role (as individuals and members of society) and to act as responsible citizens to strengthen the community. This common process enhances the efficiency and quality of work done at the grassroots level by each organization.
In fact, by combining different types of methodologies of non-formal education and by using the interaction of several related to sustainable living elements, ORA secured a positive impact on the local dimension and achieves a broader youth engagement. In order to make the relationship between different stronger and resting on a long-term platform, partners came up with the idea of establishing an international network among organizations from different European countries in order to develop plausible scenarios, plan joint initiatives, coordinated actions and perspectives of projects under the Observe Rethink Act.
